Welcome to Casa Templin -
an artful expression of sophistication and charm by Joel Templin. This growing collection of limited-edition works is designed to elevate your home with beauty and joy.
Inspired by life in Mazatlán, Mexico, many pieces reflect the spirit of this coastal paradise. Casa Templin creates art that enriches spaces with intention and timeless elegance. Enjoy.

On a Lark
This inaugural collection from Casa Templin takes flight as a whimsical return to creative freedom. After stepping away from the industry for several years, On a Lark was born—an unplanned yet personal exploration of imagination, transformation, and renewal. Threaded throughout the series is the recurring presence of birds: portraits where birdcages bloom from heads, hands that release flight, and inverted worlds where cats are caged and birds roam free. In every piece, the birds are never confined—they soar, symbolizing the liberation of ideas, the spark of reinvention, the joy of creating simply... on a lark.

Flora Mythica
In the hidden corners of forgotten landscapes, a new botanical world awakens—untethered from science, rooted in wonder. Flora Mythica is a compendium of fictional flowers, each a vivid hybrid of color, texture, and myth. These blooms whisper in twilight, shimmer under moonlight, and exist outside the rules of nature.
From the glowing Celestial Ember to the weightless Skyward Bloom, each specimen invites curiosity over classification. Inspired by vintage botanical studies but freed from their constraints, these flowers live at the edge of the real and the imagined—where nature becomes art, and petals hold stories not yet told.

Lotería
A fresh spin on a Mexican classic! First played in 1769, Lotería has become a beloved part of Mexico’s cultural fabric. Casa Templin brings new life to this timeless game with 92 reimagined designs—styled like vintage murals, full of color, history, and folk-art charm. A meaningful piece of Mexico to bring warmth, nostalgia, and character to your home.

Fleur-de-Plume
A celebration of freedom and flight, Fleur-de-Plume is a limited art series featuring one-of-a-kind bird portraits framed in sculptural steel. Each piece is printed on premium canvas, protected by anti-reflective glass, and encased in a custom-designed metal frame—shaped like a birdcage, though never confining. The bars are bent, broken, or open, symbolizing liberation and imagination set free. Every frame is hand-crafted, powder-coated in colors that complement the artwork within, and entirely unique—no two are alike. Together, the art and its frame become a singular expression of elegance, movement, and the beauty of escape—designed to elevate your home with intention and wonder.

Tres Aves
A limited collection by Casa Templin, Tres Aves features three elegant seabirds—the heron, the gull, and the pelican—each soaring above ocean waves, with Mazatlán’s iconic trio of islands quietly anchoring the horizon. Rendered in warm sepia tones, these vintage-inspired illustrations bring a sense of stillness, movement, and memory to any space. Each piece is finished in a hand-painted wooden frame—black and silver, rustic yet refined—making every work one-of-a-kind. Designed to elevate your home with artful intention and coastal grace.

Tides & Treasures
In Mazatlán, the sea has a rhythm—and it counts to three. Inspired by the iconic trio of islands just offshore, Tides and Treasures is a series of coastal scenes where everything lines up in threes: three boats, three palapas, or three sun-kissed relics resting in the sand. Each artwork captures the easy elegance of beach life and the quiet poetry of the Pacific—bringing a touch of Mazatlán’s warmth and wonder into your home.

Serene Escapes
Step into a world that feels both imagined and familiar. Serene Escapes is a collection of dreamlike landscapes—each one a portal to a tranquil elsewhere. Rendered in soft earth tones with a watercolor sensibility, these illustrated vistas drift between memory and reverie. Rolling hills, still lakes, distant skylines, and misty forests emerge from the mind’s eye, not the map. Though no place is real, each scene feels like somewhere you’ve once been—or long to go. This limited series invites quiet reflection and adds an understated elegance to any space, offering a moment of calm in a world that rarely pauses.

Venados de Mazatlan
A tribute to the spirit of Mazatlán—whose name means Land of the Deer in the native Nahuatl language—this limited-edition collection celebrates the region’s deep-rooted symbolism through a series of stylized deer. Each artwork offers a distinct interpretation, honoring the animal’s graceful presence and cultural significance. From ancient lore to the beloved local baseball team, Los Venados, this series pays homage to the soul of Sinaloa with elegance, reverence, and imagination.

Modern Flight
In Modern Flight, Casa Templin turns its gaze to the ever-present gaviota—coastal muse and symbol of quiet freedom. Rendered in abstract, mid-century forms and a refined palette of sea-washed blues, soft greys, and sun-faded whites, this collection captures both the stillness and spirit of Pacific life. Inspired by Mazatlán’s coastal rhythms and timeless design, each piece offers a minimalist meditation on movement, memory, and modern elegance.

Poetic Palette
A Casa Templin limited series, Poetic Palette captures the quiet elegance of the Japanese crane, rendered in a symphony of vintage-inspired colorways. Each piece pairs delicate florals with atmospheric backdrops, evoking a dreamlike serenity where tradition meets romantic nostalgia. Designed to elevate any space, this collection is a graceful study in mood, movement, and timeless beauty.
